ILA, born Christian Rieger in Leoben in 1969, is a freelance artist. From 1988 onward, ILA studied architecture, philosophy and physics in Graz. In 1996, ILA completed a degree in technical geology at Graz University of Technology. Since 1995, ILA has participated in numerous exhibitions and public-space projects in Austria and abroad.
