Hubert Fichte

Hubert Fichte (1935–1986) was a writer who also worked as an actor, shepherd, and agricultural apprentice. His major works include the novels Das Waisenhaus (1965), Die Palette (1968), and Versuch über die Pubertät (1974), the ethnopoetic travel accounts Xango (1976) and Petersilie (1980), and the multivolume Geschichte der Empfindlichkeit, published from 1987 onward.
