Leonore Mau

Leonore Mau (1916–2013) was born in Leipzig and studied stage design. After the end of the Second World War and her relocation to Hamburg, she began working professionally as a photographer. Her work received international attention and was shown in numerous exhibitions, including at the House of Photography at the Deichtorhallen in Hamburg, where it was presented alongside Fichte’s work. Mau died on 22 September 2013.
