Horst Illmer

Horst Illmer (born 1958) is a German science-fiction author, translator, and bibliographer. In 1998, he published the bibliography “Science Fiction & Fantasy. Buch-Erstausgaben 1945–1995” with Harrassowitz Verlag. He has also written articles, reviews, essays, and stories, and translated science fiction. His translation of Ursula K. Le Guin’s novel “Verlorene Paradiese” was published in 2014 and received two Kurd Laßwitz Awards in 2015: for Best Translation and Best Foreign Science-Fiction Novel.
