Hauke Kock was born in Schleswig-Holstein in 1965. He studied communication design at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel and worked as a freelance illustrator and author. During his studies, he was already writing and illustrating children’s books. His work includes numerous children’s and young adult books, particularly nonfiction titles, as well as illustrations for games, museums, and other projects.
