Jens J. Kramer (born 1957) studied ethnology and journalism in Berlin. He made his literary debut in 1999 with the historical novel “Die Stadt unter den Steinen,” set against the background of colonial Africa, followed by “Das Delta” and “Der zerrissene Schleier.” Under the name Jo Kramer, he has published romantic comedies, and as Mike Schulz, crime comedies. Together with his wife, author Nina George, he writes under the pseudonym Jean Bagnol, creating crime novels featuring the Provençal investigator Commissaire Mazan. His works also include “Johannas Rache” (2020).
