Halina Kirschner

Halina Kirschner, born in 1982, is an illustrator, graphic designer and art educator. She studied illustration and graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig and the École supérieure des arts décoratifs in Strasbourg. Since 2010, she has worked as a freelance artist, designing books, posters and programme booklets, and developing art courses and projects for children. Her illustrations have appeared in books including Finn-Ole Heinrich and Dita Zipfel’s “Trecker kommt mit,” “Das ist das Bauhaus!” and Jaroslav Rudiš’s “Trieste Centrale.” “Trecker kommt mit” and “Das ist das Bauhaus!” were named among the “Most Beautiful German Books.”
