Gerhard Ernst

Gerhard Ernst, born in 1971, studied physics and philosophy in Munich. After holding a professorship in Stuttgart, he took up the Chair of Philosophy I at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2012. From 2005 to 2010, he was a member of the Junge Akademie. He received the Wolfgang Stegmüller Prize from the Society for Analytical Philosophy. His scholarly publications include Das Problem des Wissens (2002) and Einführung in die Erkenntnistheorie (2007; further editions in 2009 and 2011).
