Frank Heibert (born 1960) is a literary and theater translator. He began translating in 1983, primarily from English and French; authors whose works he has translated include Don DeLillo, Richard Ford, George Saunders, Raymond Queneau, Lorrie Moore, and Yasmina Reza. His novel “Kombizangen” was published in 2006. His translation work has earned him, among other honors, the Heinrich Maria Ledig-Rowohlt Prize in 2012, the Helmut M. Braem Translator’s Prize, and the Straelen Translator’s Prize from the Kunststiftung NRW.
