Eva Pfanzelter

Eva Pfanzelter, born in 1969 in Bolzano, South Tyrol, studied history and a combination of subjects at the University of Innsbruck. Her academic career includes an associate professorship at the university’s Institute of Contemporary History. Her research focuses on European and regional contemporary history, the Holocaust and cultures of remembrance, the politics of history, migration history, and digital history and digital humanities. Her regional historical work has addressed the Nazi era and its remembrance, the South Tyrol question, and aspects of migration history.
