Dirk Bach

Dirk Bach (1961–2012) was a German actor, comedian, television presenter, audiobook narrator, and voice actor. After gaining early experience in independent theater and on student stages, he joined the ensemble of Cologne Schauspielhaus in 1992. He became widely known through The Dirk Bach Show. His notable television roles included the series Lukas and Der kleine Mönch; he also co-hosted the RTL show I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here! with Sonja Zietlow. Bach remained active in theater and appeared, among other engagements, at the Worms Nibelungen Festival in 2010. As an audiobook narrator, he recorded works by authors including Max Kruse and Walter Moers. His awards included the Telestar, two German Comedy Awards, and the Goldene Kamera.
