Wolfgang Volz

Wolfgang Volz is a German photographer and art project director. From 1971 onward, he worked with Christo and Jeanne-Claude and served, among other roles, as project director for The Wrapped Reichstag in Berlin, Wrapped Trees in Riehen, The Wall – 13,000 Oil Barrels, and Big Air Package at the Gasometer Oberhausen. As the artists’ exclusive photographer, he documented their works. Their collaboration resulted in numerous books and more than 300 exhibitions in museums and galleries worldwide.
