Claus Varrelmann is a translator of literature from the English-speaking world. Together with Ulrike Becker, he translated novels by Barbara Gowdy as well as works by Elizabeth Jolley, Tim Parks, and Ian Rankin into German. Varrelmann was also a long-standing member of the translation collective Druck-Reif.
