Naomi Klein

Naomi Klein is a Canadian journalist, author and documentary filmmaker. She became known for her first book, No Logo! (2000), a critique of global brands and working conditions in the textile industry; The New York Times called it “the Bible of a movement.” Her other widely noted works include The Shock Doctrine. Klein studied at the University of Toronto, where she served as editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper. In 2001, she received the National Business Book Award, reportedly becoming the youngest author to win it. She was also a Miliband Fellow at the London School of Economics and received an honorary doctorate in civil law from the University of King’s College in Nova Scotia.
