Christina Schachtner

Christina Schachtner is a scholar of media studies. She was a professor of media studies at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt and previously a professor of education at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Her research areas include digital media and networks, gender and media, media anthropology, the relationship between technology and people, social movements in the internet age, digitalization, migration, material culture, transnationality, and mediatization.
