Holger Much (born 1968) is a German artist, book illustrator, author and poet. After completing secondary school and an internship, he studied art history and cultural studies in Tübingen, graduating with a Magister Artium. His artistic media include oil painting, drawing, mixed techniques and printmaking. As an illustrator, he worked with, among others, Achim Schnurrer, H. R. Giger and Asp Spreng; for Giger, he created hand-printed etchings based on the artist’s motifs. Together with Florentine Joop, Much created the books “Das Licht im Dunkeln,” “Und wenn wir nicht gestorben sind” and “Soweit die Flügel tragen… (Rabenschwester).” He also contributed to musical projects such as “Kelpy.”
