Christian Schubert

Christian Schubert is a physician, psychologist and psychotherapist and was a professor at the Medical University of Innsbruck. He worked there in the laboratory for psychoneuroimmunology within the Department of Medical Psychology. From 2005 to 2021, he headed the German College for Psychosomatic Medicine’s working group on psychoneuroimmunology, and from 2013 to 2020 he served on the board of the Thure von Uexküll Academy for Integrated Medicine. His research focuses include the interactions between the mind, brain and immune system, psychosomatic complexity, and the use of qualitative methods and time-series analysis. He has published numerous scientific articles and several nonfiction books.
