Christian Neureuther

Christian Neureuther, born in 1949 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, is a former German alpine ski racer. He won six World Cup slalom races and ended his competitive career in 1981. He subsequently worked for many years as a television expert and commentator, including for ARD from 1998 onward. In 2007, he received the Bavarian Sports Award in the “High-Performance Athlete Plus” category. He has also published several books on sport, health, and the enjoyment of life.
