Michael Ruhland

Michael Ruhland is from the Bavarian Forest. He worked as an editor at the Süddeutsche Zeitung for 20 years and served as editor-in-chief of the magazine Bergsteiger from 2012 to 2024. His publications include Bergmenschen, a book featuring 30 interviews and portraits of professional mountaineers. Ruhland’s work is closely connected with his passion for the mountains.
