Chong Shen

Chong Shen studied German studies at Fudan University in Shanghai from 2007 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, he held a fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG) and completed a doctorate on modern German literature at the Friedrich Schlegel Graduate School of Literary Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. His monograph “Ennui, Epiphanie, Mnemopoesie” was published by Königshausen & Neumann. He has also published scholarly articles on Stefan George, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, and Rainer Maria Rilke.
