Marc Hermann

Marc Hermann, born in 1970, studied German studies, philosophy, and Sinology. He earned a doctorate with a thesis on ideological and moral criticism in the work of the Chinese author Zhang Ailing. Hermann worked as a specialist adviser on Chinese literature for Kindlers Literatur-Lexikon and as a research associate at the University of Bonn’s Department of Sinology. He also translated from Chinese, including works by Jinkang Wang and Liu Cixin.
