Brigitta Winkelried

Brigitta Winkelried, born in 1959 in Fiesch in the canton of Valais, studied business administration, economics and law in Bern. Until 2018, she taught at the Berufsfachschule Oberwallis vocational school in Brig. She subsequently devoted herself to writing crime novels. Her first novel featuring Inspector Steinalper, »Das Wundermedikament«, was published in 2019, followed by »Der Tote im Wolfspelz« in 2020. Another volume, »Die Vergeltung des Engels«, appeared in 2021.
