Brian Augustyn

Brian Augustyn (born 1954) is an American comic-book editor and writer. During the 1980s and 1990s, he worked for DC Comics as an editor on series including *The Flash* and *Justice League*, as well as on the Impact Comics imprint. He received a Wizard Fan Award for this work. Augustyn also advocated for Mark Waid as the writer of *The Flash*; the two later collaborated on titles including *The Flash*, *Ash: Cinder & Smoke*, *The Crusaders*, *Painkiller Jane*, and *X-O Manowar*. Augustyn’s own credits include *Crimson*, *Out There*, *Black Condor*, *Black Mask*, *Imperial Guard*, *Legend of the Sage*, *Mega Man*, and *Duel Masters*.
