Andrea Offermann

Andrea Offermann, born in Cologne in 1980, studied illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. She also studied animation design and printmaking. After graduating, she worked as a freelance illustrator in the fields of art, comics, and illustration, primarily for children’s and young adult publishers. In 2013, she received the Portfolio Award at the annual conference of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators in New York. Her other distinctions include the Youth Jury Prize of the Austrian Children’s and Young People’s Book Prize.
