Andrea Kluitmann

Andrea Kluitmann (born 1966) studied German studies in Bochum and Amsterdam. Since 1992, she has translated from Dutch, including literature, graphic novels, screenplays and non-fiction. Authors whose works she has translated include Hella Haasse and Gerbrand Bakker. Her translation of Do van Ranst’s young adult novel *Wir retten Leben, sagt mein Vater* received the German Youth Literature Prize.
