Martine Letterie

Martine Letterie was born in Amsterdam in 1958. She studied Dutch language and literature and initially worked as a teacher and lecturer before devoting herself to writing. She wrote books for children and young adults as well as for adults, including numerous works about the Second World War. Several of her books were created in close collaboration with the Westerbork Memorial Centre in the Netherlands.
