Anna Woltz

Anna Woltz was born in London in 1981 and grew up in The Hague. She studied history in Leiden. At the age of 15, she began writing columns for the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. From 2002 onward, she worked as a freelance author and was also active as a journalist. Her books have received several awards in the Netherlands and Germany, including the Catholic Children’s and Young Adult Book Prize, the Gustav Heinemann Peace Prize, the Luchs of the Month, and the Silver and Golden Griffel.
