Alice Hasters

Alice Hasters was born in Cologne in 1989. She works as an author, writer, presenter, and speaker. Her professional work has included roles with Tagesschau and the youth program funk, presenting for Deutschlandfunk Nova and RBB, and developing social-media formats. Together with Maxi Häcke, she co-hosted the podcast “Feuer & Brot,” which focused on feminism and pop culture. Her debut book, “Was weiße Menschen nicht über Rassismus hören wollen, aber wissen sollten,” reached No. 5 on the 2020 annual paperback nonfiction bestseller list. In the same year, she was named Culture Journalist of the Year for her educational work on racism. Her other books include “Identitätskrise.”
