Alexander Pehlemann

Alexander Pehlemann, born in 1969 in Berlin-Lichtenberg, studied art history and history. He has worked as an author, curator, journalist, networker and DJ, and was the editor of the magazine and almanac »Zonic«, which focuses on cultural marginalia and, in particular, Eastern European subcultures. From 2018, he also oversaw the sub-label Edition Iron Curtain Radio. Before entering the cultural field, Pehlemann was a wrestler with the Army Sports Club »Vorwärts« in Frankfurt/Oder.
