The King's Men (All for the Game)

von Nora Sakavic

Format:Softcover

Neil Josten is out of time. He knew when he came to PSU he wouldn't survive the year, but with his death right around the corner he's got more reasons than ever to live. Befriending the Foxes was inadvisable. Kissing one is unthinkable. Neil should know better than to get involved with anyone this close to the end, but Andrew's never been the easiest person to walk away from. If they both say it doesn't mean anything, maybe Neil won't regret losing it, but the one person Neil can't lie to is himself. He's got promises to keep and a team to get to championships if he can just outrun Riko a little longer, but Riko's not the only monster in Neil's life. The truth might get them all killed—or be Neil's one shot at getting out of this alive.

I don‘t even have words. Literally im speechless. Everything about this series is just perfect to me, it‘s all i think about since ive started it and i don‘t think ill ever stop thinking about it. I went into this with no knowledge at all and left with my heart shattered to pieces but also so full. The first triology is over and i don‘t know how to feel. First i feel heartbroken that i read this so fast and wish that i could read it again for the first time always, this series altered my brain and mind so much it‘s unbelievable. I just don‘t want it to end. I know i still have the next books about jean etc but what do you mean i won‘t see my babies on my page all the time now? Im also so fucking happy that i even started this series in the first place because oh my god, this quickly went up to one of my favorites, if not on the top of them. I could talk about this for hours and never grow tired. All about the foxes just amazed me so much, every single character and their iduviduals and storys, i was so happy to learn about it all. The friendships were on point and so awesome i literally can‘t, i was crying and laughing and giggling, don‘t care what emotion I WAS FEELING IT. Obviously mentioning andreil because what. the. fuck. WHAT? i DON‘T have words. Andrew and Neil literally are my favorites, they are so prescious and perfect to me. All the little crumbs we got, sometimes more sometimes less, but it was enough to know i will never get them out of my head. But not just them, so many characters of these books have gotten into my heart in such short time and omg. I will definitely infinitely reread these books forever. Also, andrew will forever be my favorite, of course i love everyone especially neil, but andrew just has something about him. I love him so so much. THIS SERIES HAS MY WHOLE HEART 🦊🧡🥍

Idk if this is because i read this book slower than the raven king or because I'm just getting used to how dark this series is but I feel less traumatised that I did after the raven king. I mean I still really loved this book and Neil and Andrew make me giggle uncontrolably all the time. I want more and i know there is more but that focuses on Jean and i do like him but i just dont know if i care that much about him. Either way this series was amazing and I feel like a different person than i was before starting it.

This was a reread and I REGRET NOTHING. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this is the best book. Not just of the series. Of LIFE. The King’s Men is pure chaos, emotional destruction, character growth, trauma processing (or… attempted processing), murder threats, Exy… and it somehow still manages to be the most comforting thing I’ve ever read. Like yes, please destroy me emotionally again. I insist. At this point I don’t even read this book, I relive it. I breathe it like oxygen. I quote it in real life and get weird looks from people who don’t know who Andrew Minyard is. (Tragic for them tbh.) And let’s not even start with the ending. I was clenching my whole soul reading the last few chapters like I didn’t already know what happens. I cried. I laughed. I screamed. I laid in bed staring at the ceiling whispering “I love them so much it’s disgusting.” Andrew and Neil are EVERYTHING! 10000000/10. Always a masterpiece. Always a reread. Always ruining my life in the best way.
