Rezension von CharI have to say I read "Der Zopf" by Laetitia Colombani before - a book that was declared feminist and a read for and about strong women. However, I found it to be pretty clichée and predictable., This book by Anna Katharina Hahn however....this is a book that is honest and really for women, because it does not display the idea of feminism and strong women. It just displays life. It's not feminist in the way you would think. It's not about women fighting for their dreams, this book is about women who live their dream life - and who despise it... who find it cages them. A women who always desired to be both - mum and business woman- and who finds she would rather only be the first. A women who has it all figured out, but finds she needs drugs and daydreams of another man to remain sane. Do they escape, do they persist, do they change? Find out yourself. Apart from three women this book is also about a young men. Because yes, books can have both, female and male protagonists. Four stories, four roads that cross every now and then. Four different ways of writing? YES. I loved this book. Also I loved the setting - Stuttgart - which is refreshing and exciting, hits close to home. It's not the US, not the Riviera, not Berlin. It's Stuttgart and four very authentic characters.
