Rezension von lynn✨Normalerweise, wenn ich ein Buch mit einem Stern bewerte, dann meine ich eher null. Das Buch hat allerdings einen Stern verdient. Ich muss ehrlich gestehen Dark Romance ist einfach nicht mein liebstes Genres, aber das Buch war wirklich auch einfach nicht gut. Glyndon war irgendwie so ein langweiliger Charakter und Kilian hat mir auch nicht gefallen. Er ist einfach wie ein typischer Serienmörder aufgebaut. Abgesehen davon hat die Szenerie auch Lücken. Teilweise halten sich die Protagonisten an Orten auf die eigentlich mal wo anders waren. I don’t get it. Und ich verstehe einfach auch den Hype um Kilian (Kill) nicht. Also er ist tbh einfach ein boring Protagonist. Ich versteh ja schon nicht wieso Zade aus Haunting Adeline so beliebt ist, aber Kilian ist wirklich einfach komplett lost. Werde die Reihe auf jeden Fall nicht beenden.
Rezension von iva <3see, i have a problem with this book. it entertained me, but it gave me the same vibe as cruel king (astrid and levi), and i didn’t really like cruel king (it was a 2 star read). I didn’t really like both of the characters, but i loved being in Killian‘s head because he‘s a twisted psychopath but I don’t really like the way he treated Glyndon and I don’t really like the way his inner monologe was written… But yeah other than that i almost LOVED every side character especially Niko, bran & eli!!

It’s not like i didn’t like the book at all, i really did, the thing is that I really didn’t like the first half… it wasn’t completely bad but it simply wasn’t for me. the second half was better and i actually enjoyed it. It even made me want to read all the other books Rina Kent wrote because they’re somehow all connected to each other but you don’t really have to read the others to understand this one. But there are many easter eggs in it so now i want to read the others as well. And i also think the plot was good and Killian and Glyndon are a really good fit for each other (and low-key all the characters which were introduced throughout the book where interesting in their own way). anyway i would recommend this book if you like fucked-up dark romance that’s for sure.
