*2.5 I mostly felt basically nothing while reading it. It's not that I hated it. It's just that I couldn't care less about it.

3.75-4⭐️ Loved the back story. Sometimes I was a little annoyed of the FMC. But I liked the friendship between them and what he does for her. The beginning of the book got better hooked and I read it really fast. The storyline was good but sometimes I was confused how easily they got away from the police, like any police. (Except the one scene were she ran away) I loved the prison letters. I wished there would be more details about her last foster family. Did I enjoy reading the book? Yes Would I read it again? Yes Would I recommend it? Yes, it is a short book and has a storyline for the dark romance girls or boys.

3.75⭐️ I loved this. This was great. Okay so, first things first Bella and Mickey were meant for eachother. I love childhood best friends to lovers, but their story was a whole thing for itself. The fact that there was never anyone else in the picture for either of them sealed the deal for me. They just complimented each other so well for me- I loved it. The letters broke me. But it was definitely worth it. If u like dark romance but in a cutsie and light way: definitely read it.
