Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor

Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor, born in Kenya in 1968, is a Kenyan writer. Her short stories have appeared in international literary magazines. In 2003, she received the Caine Prize for African Writing. Her debut novel, »Der Ort, an dem die Reise endet« (DuMont, 2016), was shortlisted for the Folio Prize and received the Jomo Kenyatta Prize for Literature. »Das Meer der Libellen« is her second novel.
