Simone Jakob

Simone Jakob studied literary translation in Düsseldorf and worked as a translator from English and French. She translated works into German by authors including David Nicholls, Philip Kerr, Sefi Atta, Abi Daré, Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor and Jennifer Saint. Her translation of Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor’s novel *The Dragonfly Sea* was named Translation of the Month by the magazine TraLaLit in January 2021.
