Yan Lianke

Yan Lianke, born in 1958 in China’s Henan Province, is a Chinese writer. From 1978 onward, he served in the People’s Liberation Army and studied literature at its arts college. His literary work has received numerous Chinese literary awards and has been nominated for several international literary prizes.
