Werner Sobek

Werner Sobek is an architect and engineer. He taught at the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design (ILEK) at the University of Stuttgart and initiated Collaborative Research Centre SFB 1244 on adaptive envelopes and structures for the built environment. He also founded an internationally active planning firm that, according to the publisher, employs more than 350 people.
