Bettina Lockemann

Bettina Lockemann (born 1971), an artist and scholar with a focus on artistic documentary photography, studied artistic photography and media art in Leipzig and earned a doctorate in art history at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design. She subsequently taught artistic photography and art theory in Stuttgart, Leipzig, and Zurich, among other places. For five years, she was Professor of the Practice and Theory of Photography at the Braunschweig University of Art.
