Werner Renz

Werner Renz studied German and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main. He worked as a research associate at the Fritz Bauer Institute in Frankfurt, including in its Archives and Library Department, and edited the journal Einsicht. His main areas of research include the history of the Frankfurt Auschwitz trials and the history of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. He has published numerous essays and books on these subjects.
