Walter Jaeschke

Walter Jaeschke (1945–2022) was a professor of philosophy with a focus on German Idealism at Ruhr University Bochum. From 1998 to 2016, he directed the Hegel Archive there. He was the director and editor of the edition »G. W. F. Hegel: Gesammelte Werke«, published by the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences until 2016. He also directed and edited editions of the works and correspondence of the philosopher Friedrich Heinrich Jacobi.
