Veronika Gruhl

Veronika Gruhl earned a bachelor’s degree in communication design from Hochschule München and subsequently pursued a career as a freelance illustrator. Her fields of work included book, children’s book and comic illustration, as well as event and fashion illustration. She worked both traditionally, using pencil, markers and watercolours, and digitally. Her children’s comic Das verfluchte Elixier received the ICOM Award for Outstanding Artwork in 2019.
