Michael Michalsky

Michael Michalsky (born 1967 in Göttingen) is a German fashion and product designer. He studied at the London College of Fashion and gained international recognition as Global Creative Director of adidas. From 2005 to 2017, he was Creative Director of the fashion label MCM. In the 2000s, he founded his own label, Michalsky, also known as Atelier Michalsky, which encompassed fashion as well as interior and lifestyle products. His designs included furniture, wallpaper, carpets, eyewear and tableware. His work received design awards including the Red Dot Award and the German Design Award.
