Vanessa Vu

Vanessa Vu (born 1991) studied ethnology, international law and Southeast Asian studies in Munich, Paris and London. After attending the German School of Journalism, she worked as an editor for ZEIT Online. Her journalistic work has received, among other honors, the Theodor Wolff Prize, the Helmut Schmidt Prize and the Lessing Prize for Criticism. Vu moderated “Klassenzimmer” at Berlin’s Schaubühne and was co-host of the Vietnamese-German podcast “Rice and Shine”.
