Monty Ott is a scholar of political science and religious studies, an author, and an activist. His writing addresses antisemitism, memory culture, intersectionality, and queerness. From 2018 to 2021, he was the founding chair of Keshet Deutschland e. V. In early 2023, his essay “Inzwischen ist es kalt geworden,” about antisemitism in left-wing movements, appeared in the German weekly Die Zeit.
