Valeria Luiselli

Valeria Luiselli, born in Mexico City in 1983, is a writer, journalist, editor, and lecturer. She published the novels *Faces in the Crowd* and *The Story of My Teeth*, as well as the essay collection *False Papers* (*Papeles falsos*). Her books were translated into more than 20 languages and received literary prizes. *Lost Children Archive* was her first novel written in English. Luiselli also wrote libretti for the New York City Ballet and contributed to publications including *Letras Libres* and *The New York Times*.
