Urban Priol (born 1961) is a German cabaret performer. A few years after graduating from school, he founded his first cabaret venue and began performing solo programs in 1995. He became known, among other things, for the satirical annual review “TILT!” and as presenter of the ZDF program “Neues aus der Anstalt” from 2007 to 2013. His work has received numerous awards, including the Salzburger Stier, the German Kleinkunstpreis, the German Cabaret Prize and, together with Georg Schramm, the 2007 German Television Award. An asteroid was named after him.
