Georg Schramm (born 1949) studied psychology after completing secondary school and military service, and worked for twelve years as a qualified psychologist. From 1988 onward, he performed exclusively as a cabaret artist. His six solo programs include “Mephistos Faust” (2001) and “Thomas Bernhard hätte geschossen” (2005). From 2000 to 2006, he was a member of the satirical television program “Scheibenwischer”; he subsequently appeared on the ZDF program “Neues aus der Anstalt.” His work received, among others, the Deutscher Kleinkunst-Preis, Deutscher Kabarett-Preis, Salzburger Stier, and Swiss cabaret award Cornichon.
