Udo Kroschwald

Udo Kroschwald, born in Freiberg in 1955, is a German actor. He initially studied electrical engineering and worked, among other jobs, as a railway worker, dance musician and stagehand before attending the Leipzig Theatre Academy. After engagements in Magdeburg and Stendal, he was a member of the ensemble of Berlin’s Deutsches Theater until 2001. Kroschwald appeared in numerous film and television productions. He became widely known for his role as Chief Inspector Jan Reuter in the television series “SOKO Wismar”.
