Toshikazu Kawaguchi

Toshikazu Kawaguchi, born in 1971 in Osaka, Japan, is a Japanese playwright, producer, and director. He worked with the theater company Sonic Snail. His play and literary debut, *Before the Coffee Gets Cold*, won the Grand Prize at the Suginami Drama Festival, where it was performed as a stage play. The work later became an international bestseller.
