Reviewed by IvaToo Much Repetition, Too Little Magic! Despite all the hype, this book unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations. The four stories are very similar, differing only in small details, which made the reading feel repetitive. The large number of characters made it hard to keep track – I often had to flip back to the character list. Overall, the pacing felt slow and monotonous, so I can’t give it more than two stars.

Reviewed by EvaI like the kind of writing, the different stories that more or less come together in the coffeehouse. However, I'm not a fan of the stories. The decisions, the drives and especially the message behind them I find questionable. Maybe it's a different mentality, but that's why for me it's not deep. It's old ideas idealized. Anyway it gives something to think about.
